"1893 Chicago's Columbian Exposition" Documentary Film to Premiere at the AI Film and Art Festival

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Oct. 22, 2024 - PRLog -- Chicago 1893 has secured a premiere date at the AI Film and Art Festival to premiere the 27-minute generative AI-enhanced cut of the documentary film "1893 Chicago's Columbian Exposition" on November 1st in Glendale, Arizona.

Project Lead, Michael Finney: "Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to revisit the Chicago 1893 documentary using the Runway generative AI video platform. It has been great to explore the historical photography as well as photos I have taken around modern-day Chicago to re-present the film using new technology. It's great to know that an event like this showcases work of this nature."

The AI Film and Art Festival is currently the only event of its kind in the United States that is highlighting creativity, storytelling, and the growth of AI in entertainment.

This project explores the event through historical documentation and juxtaposes it against living remnants in art and architecture around the city as a legacy of the 1893 World's Fair.
