Follow on Google News | Warrior Homes of Collier expands team to support veteransBy: Warrior Homes of Collier Warrior Homes of Collier operates four residences for local veterans, while also connecting its residents with support services such as mental health counseling and peer support. Its newest team member is Lisa Loren, a veteran's support associate. An East Tennessee native, Loren joins Warrior Homes of Collier from The Salvation Army – Naples, where she worked as both a disaster recovery coordinator and a veteran's case manager. She's a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University whose uncle and brother both served in the military. "Lisa is unquestionably a skilled administrator and manager, but most importantly, she shares our deep commitment to ensuring that no veteran is left behind in our county," said Dale Mullin, founder and president of Warrior Homes of Collier. "She started the veterans' support program at our local Salvation Army from scratch, helping scores of local veterans obtain financial assistance and other critical support." Since 2020, Warrior Homes of Collier has opened four residences for local veterans: Alpha House, a short-term, transitional home for those in recovery from substance use disorders; Bravo and Charlie Houses, which serve seniors on fixed incomes; and Delta House, a supportive housing complex with 10 apartments for up to 20 veterans, both men and women. "I'm thrilled at the opportunity to continue on the path of changing lives, one veteran at a time," Loren said. "There is no more dedicated agency serving veterans in our area than Warrior Homes of Collier."
