Habitat for Humanity of Long Island Announces Leadership Transition

The Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Long Island has announced a leadership change within the organization.
 
LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - Oct. 17, 2024 - PRLog -- Middle Island, NY – : The Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Long Island has announced a leadership change within the organization. Jimmy Jack, who served as Chief Executive Officer, has resigned to pursue his passions, including his role as a pastor and his commitment to leading his church. The organization expressed its appreciation for Jack's time with them and extended well wishes for his future endeavors.

Stepping into the role of Interim CEO/Executive Director is Diane Manders, who has been serving as Habitat Long Island's Chief Operations Officer. Manders brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to the organization's mission of providing safe and affordable housing for hardworking families.

The Board expressed confidence in Manders' ability to lead during this transition, stating, "Diane's deep understanding of our mission and her leadership experience make her the ideal person to guide the organization forward."

As Habitat for Humanity of Long Island moves ahead under Manders' leadership, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to serving the Long Island community and expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the community, donors, and partners.
