A warehouse in motion - Mobile racking system for Greenteam/Nypan

KERPEN, Germany - Oct. 24, 2024 - PRLog -- n order to create more storage capacity, the Hungarian company Greenteam, in cooperation with its sister company Nypan, modernised its warehouse with an OHRA cantilever racking system mounted on five traversing carriages. Within a compact area of just 6 x 15 metres, Greenteam has created the high storage capacity needed to store worktops in 120 different colours. The traversing carriages can be controlled by remote control from the forklift truck, thus enabling worktops to be quickly stored and retrieved. With the mobile racking system from OHRA, the company has tripled its total storage capacity. In addition, customers can now be supplied 40 per cent faster.

Greenteam was founded in 1991 under the name Greenteam Timber Kft. Since 1993, Greenteam has been the exclusive representative of the Weinig Group in Hungary, and since 1994 the company has been selling Jowa adhesives. Today, the main focus lies on the wholesale of Jowa adhesives and the distribution of Weinig woodworking machines.

Nypan was founded in 1998 and has since developed into a leading distributor of carpentry supplies and furniture accessories. The company's goal is to offer its customers the widest possible selection of raw materials and components at all times. With this in mind, the factory in Szombathely is also undergoing continuous development: Modern circular saw benches and CNC machines operate in the company's own workshop in two shifts.
