NEWS: SpaceX engineer Mike Coryell, who has been with the company for 10 years, has spent the past week in North Carolina.

He says they have already deployed over 1,000 Starlink kits in the valley, with each deployment enabling 10x more people to communicate. So far.......

"We have deployed a little over 1,000 of these Starlinks around this valley. And every single one that we've deployed, we get about 10x more people being able to communicate about medical attention needs that they have, missing loved ones…

"The amount of help that its helped with our entire infrastructure that we have here for the fire departments, police, anything like this to help come in and give the people what they need immediately has been a tremendous change because there is nothing here," said Coryell during an interview with Fox News.

The US Federal Communication Commission (FCC) recently granted SpaceX and T-Mobile temporary authority to provide coverage through Starlink (https://www.teslarati.com/starlink-cellular-spacex-tmobil...) Direct-to-Cellular (or Starlink Cellular) to people in North Carolina recovering from Hurricane Helene.
