CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Oct. 28, 2024 - PRLog -- Third Thursdays" monthly jazz series host Dave Bryant (keyboardist) has announced that Srinivasan Raghuraman (vocals), Upasak Mukherjee (tabla), Shivaraj Natraj (mridangam), Mike Rivard (sintir) and Jacob William (bass) will join him for a unique concert combining Indian Carnatic singing, North and South Indian percussion, the Moroccan sintir, and keyboards.

Dave notes: "I am privileged to learn from these brilliant improvising musicians from the Indian tradition and have my own creative methods enriched in the process. Mike Rivard (no stranger to compelling crosscultural encounters) will add another layer of interest with his work on the sintir. This event promises to be a catalyst for many unexpected chain reactions!"
