March on Mission Launches Charitable Initiative to Expand Access to Mental Health Services

INDIANAPOLIS - Dec. 3, 2024 - PRLog -- March on Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking barriers to mental health care, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new charitable initiative focused on providing transformative mental health support for veterans, first responders, and foster youth. This initiative is designed to increase access to innovative treatments such as neurofeedback, ketamine therapy, and counseling services to help individuals manage trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health challenges.

"We are excited to take this step forward in getting access to mental health care to those who need it most," said Tara Rager, Executive Director of March on Mission. "By supporting these life changing services for individuals facing financial barriers, we hope to give them a chance to heal —because healing shouldn't be a luxury, especially for our heroes."

March on Mission's programs focus on providing targeted financial assistance, funded through community donations, grants, and partnerships, to make effective, evidence-based therapies accessible. In addition to direct treatment services, the organization is committed to reducing stigma around mental health through community education and advocacy.

"Our goal is to create a community where mental health care is viewed as a basic human right," Rager added. "Through this initiative, we're able to reach individuals who might otherwise be left without options, giving them the tools and support they need to thrive."
