Italy Joins Global Peace Movement with Inaugural Peace Circle™

LIPERI, Finland - Nov. 4, 2024 - PRLog -- Fuscaldo, Italy  – The Peace Circle™ proudly announces the inauguration of Italy's first Peace Circle in Fuscaldo, Calabria. This landmark event represents a significant step toward the organization's mission to establish Peace Circles in 100 countries by 2030, building on the successful first launch in Finland. These green spaces aim to foster peace, sustainability, and community engagement on a global scale.

Mika Vanhanen, founder of Peace Circle™ and a lifelong advocate for environmental peace, expressed his excitement about bringing this vision to Italy. Inspired by St. Francis of Assisi's words, "Start by doing what is necessary; then do what is possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible," Vanhanen shared, "It is an honor to establish a Peace Circle in Italy, where St. Francis' legacy of peace resonates deeply. Each Peace Circle, shaped as a peace symbol, serves as a powerful reminder that peace truly grows here."

Highlights of the Fuscaldo Peace Circle Inauguration

The inaugural event will feature a Tree Planting Ceremony where participants can plant symbolic trees by creating three distinct lines that form the Peace Symbol:

• Heart Line: Representing hope, love, and justice.
• Head Line: Symbolizing knowledge, science, and wisdom.
• Hands Line: Standing for life, balance, and diversity.

At the center of the Circle, the Peace Tree symbolizes strength and resilience. Surrounding this, the Circle of Guardians protects and nurtures the Peace Circle's core values. Together, these elements embody a living commitment to peace, connecting compassion, intellect, and environmental stewardship.
