Krakenomics appoints Kenji Matsusaka as Representative Director for Japan

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Nov. 15, 2024 - PRLog -- In this capacity, he will oversee all operations and manage a small team of Asset Management specialists based in Osaka's Business District of Nakanoshima.

Kenji joined Krakenomics as the JPX specialist on Japanese markets and since his arrival, he has effectively handled client relationship management and acquisition efforts, leveraging his extensive experience in the financial sector and his robust network within the Japanese stock exchange.

Before joining Krakenomics Investments, he served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation where he was responsible for developing Quantitative Investment Strategies for major financial institutions. Previously, Kenji held a senior executive position at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and worked at JPMorgan Securities Japan in Equity & Fund Derivative marketing.  He has also occupied asset specialist roles at Deutsche Bank Securities in Japan and BNP Paribas Tokyo.

Kenji earned a Masters' in Business and Finance from the Keio University School of Business in Minato, Tokyo and Bachelor's in Law from Waseda University in Tokyo.
