The 60th Edition of Hookahville To Take Place June 5 - 7 in Newark, OHEkoostik Hookah will celebrate all eras of its music over the three-night weekend
By: JSG Live On Thursday, June 5, ekoostik hookah will be performing two sets from the "1.0 era" (1991 - 1996, 2006 - 2009). The sets will include songs from founding member John Mullins, whose vocals will be performed by Nat Reeb. Just like the first Hookahville back in 1994, Ed McGee will play a solo acoustic set to open the show. On Friday, June 6 Ed McGee will join ekoostik hookah for two sets from the "2.0 era" (1996 - 2006). ekoostik hookah will play two sets on Saturday, June 7 with its current lineup to close the festival. More bands will be announced soon. The first Hookahville set the stage for what has become a bi-annual tradition for 30 years. Legendary acts such as Bob Weir and Ratdog, Billy Strings, Willy Nelson, Blues Traveler, Les Claypool, Government Mule, and countless others have shared the Hookahville stage over the years. The incredible music, along with the old-school festival vibe that is inherent to Hookahville, makes it a place where long-time fans and fresh faces feel at home. Hookahville also features a wide variety of food vendors, an array of amazing craft and art vendors, and live painting and glassblowing on display throughout the entire weekend at the festival's Artist Village.
