CAMDEN, N.J. - Nov. 29, 2024 - PRLog -- William O'Hanlon, MAGA Candidate and CEO of Ryan James & Daniels Corp, will appear before the Honorable Judge Karen Williams at the Camden Federal Courthouse on Monday, December 2, 2024. The hearing arises as federal prosecutors seek to disqualify O'Hanlon's current attorney, Lee Vartan of CSG Law, from continuing to represent him in the matter, citing an alleged conflict of interest. The government is requesting either Vartan's removal or a restriction preventing him from cross-examining one of O'Hanlon's co-defendants.

Judge Williams, who will preside over the hearing, recently dismissed a civil case brought by O'Hanlon against BB&T Bank. That case stemmed from actions in 2020, when BB&T froze the account of WAB, a company owned by O'Hanlon, just days after he deposited over $100,000 in cashier's checks. The account freeze occurred without explanation, locking up WAB's remaining operating capital for four months and ultimately forcing the company to shut down, causing over 55 minorities to lose their six-figure-income jobs.

The checks deposited at BB&T originated from Citizen's Bank, which had previously closed WAB's accounts after receiving a call from federal prosecutors. Mason McDowell, VP Bank Security Officer of Citizen's Bank, informed BB&T that WAB was under investigation and alleged it was a fraudulent company—claims that were baseless at the time, as WAB was under investigation but had not been charged with any wrongdoing. O'Hanlon filed a lawsuit against BB&T in NJ Superior Court for wrongful account termination, but the case was dismissed earlier this year.

O'Hanlon, a staunch advocate for business owners' rights, has denounced these actions as unjust and a clear example of overreach by both financial institutions and federal authorities. "I'm confident that justice will prevail," said O'Hanlon. "This ongoing interference is not just a personal attack—it's an affront to all small business owners trying to succeed in a system that should protect them, not punish them. As a devout Catholic, I have unwavering faith that Jesus Christ will continue to guide and protect me through these challenges, as He has done throughout my life."

In advance of the December 2nd court appearance, O'Hanlon will hold a press conference at 10:00 AM outside the Camden Federal Courthouse. Members of the legacy press are encouraged to attend and will have the opportunity to ask questions.
