Help Needed to Build Up Supports, Resources for Parents of Multiples

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Dec. 1, 2024 - PRLog -- "Being a parent of multiples brings challenges, no matter what stage of life you're in."

There's the challenge of finding time to sleep when parenting two, three or more newborns. There's the challenge of determining the best classroom placement during school years, balancing extracurricular events, financing college…and the list goes on.

"Being a part of Multiples of America means you don't face those challenges alone."

We all need a place where we feel at home, where we can gather the resources we need, where we can recharge. Multiples of America has been that place for thousands upon thousands of parents over its 64-year history.

This year, the non-profit organization is asking businesses, parents, and supporters for their help in building on to that place, in doubling down on developing resources and supports that are specific to the unique needs of those parenting twins, triplets, or other higher order multiples.

Multiples of America's Building Our Story giving campaign, which runs Dec. 2-31, will provide the funds to build the resources to reach out into new communities, construct more connections with current clubs, and add in more ways of caring for our members.

The goal for this year's campaign is to raise $2,500, and an anonymous donor has pledged to match donations up to that goal, dollar for dollar. Donations can be in any amount or they can be earmarked toward a specific category.

Become a Builder with a gift of $25. This covers one month of costs for the platform used to manage postings on social media.

Designate yourself a Designer with a gift of $50. This helps pay for one month of video conferencing so members and volunteers can connect for learning and planning.

Become a Contractor with a gift of $100. This provides members and clubs with email communications from the Executive Office for a month.

Designate yourself a Project Manager with a gift of $250. Help! The technology used at the Executive Office is nearly a decade old! Help fund an upgrade to the Executive Office workstation and maintain our Multiples of America website.
