By: International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation It is a forum for leading international experts & professionals in Ayurveda to share their works and expand their scope of knowledge. Research scientists, doctors, and scholars worldwide with expertise in Ayurveda will discuss various themes and scientific evidence on preventing disease, promoting longevity, and alleviating specific health conditions with Ayurveda. The congress will be attended by over 1,300 delegates & professionals from India and many countries. Chief Patrons are Dr Tony Nader (Global Leader of Maharishi´s organizations) Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Minister of State (independent charge), Ministry of AYUSH and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will be the Guest of Honour. Padmashri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of AYUSH, will be the special invitee as a Patron of the Congress. Other senior authorities of the Ministry of AYUSH will also be present. By today, India has signed MoUs relating to Ayurveda with over 80 national governments. Over 30 countries have officially recognized Ayurveda. WHO will establish its Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in India.
