CLEARWATER, Fla. - Dec. 4, 2024 - PRLog -- Patriot Chamber Hosts Army vs Navy Game Tailgate & Watch Party to Support My Warrior's Place

Clearwater, FL – The US Patriot Chamber of Commerce and OCC Roadhouse excited to announce an Army-Navy Game Tailgate & Watch Party to raise funds for My Warrior's Place, a retreat center dedicated to veterans and first responders located in Ruskin, FL.

Last year, volunteers from the US Patriot Chamber played a crucial role in the recovery efforts at My Warrior's Place following the devastation caused by Hurricane Idalia. They worked tirelessly to rebuild, renovate, and recover the center. Just as they were ready to welcome guests again, back-to-back hurricanes struck, leaving the center submerged under four feet of water.

This year, the Patriot Chamber is committed to raising funds to help My Warrior's Place rebuild and elevate their cottages higher off the ground where it is feasible, ensuring they can continue their vital mission.

My Warrior's Place was founded by Gold Star Mom, Kelly Kowall, who, after the tragic loss of her son in Afghanistan, chose to dedicate her life to supporting others. Inspired by the impact her son's death had on his platoon, Kelly used her resources to establish the retreat center, providing a sanctuary for those who serve.

Kelly has since become a cherished member of the Tampa Bay community, known for her unwavering support of veterans and first responders. Her advocacy and dedication are evident wherever there is an event supporting these heroes.

We invite you to join us and share Kelly's inspiring story at the Army-Navy Game Tailgate & Watch Party, co-hosted by the US Patriot Chamber of Commerce and the OCC Roadhouse. The event will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2025, from 1 PM to 6 PM at OCC Roadhouse in Clearwater, FL.
