Gravitas Ventures to Distribute Sebastian Pigott's Directorial Debut

PORTLAND, Ore. - Dec. 11, 2024 - PRLog -- In partnership with leading independent film distributor Gravitas Ventures, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, the Oregon-based indie film company, Dog Unlimited, will release its debut feature Bring It All Back Home. The crime-spree dramedy was written and directed by its lead actor, Sebastian Pigott, who also plays a lead in Justin Kurzel's new thriller, The Order, opposite Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult. Pigott is the co-founder and co-owner of Dog Unlimited.

With Bring it all Back Home, Dog Unlimited strove to create the highest caliber of indie film while keeping costs down by using modern, streamlined production methods that prioritize acting, realism, and storytelling. About Pigott's performance, The Order star Nicholas Hoult said, "Sebastian is such a talented actor, he finds truth and heart in every moment." Gravitas Ventures acquired the film as part of its new focus on supporting up-and-coming directors and filmmakers.

Bring it all Back Home tells the story of Eddie Backus (Pigott) – former pro-baseball player, missing for five years – who reappears suddenly in his small hometown. On a cocaine-inspired "mission from God", Eddie leads his childhood best friend (Joe Dinicol - White Men Can't Jump) and brother (Zion Forrest Lee - Suicide Squad) on an ill-fated quest to reclaim the glory of youth. Rachel Alig (Our Family Pride) plays Eddie's long-lost highschool sweetheart.

Assisting in negotiations on behalf of the filmmakers was Jeffrey Cooper of Cut Entertainment Group. Bring it all Back Home will be available on video-on-demand platforms starting in January, and streaming platforms thereafter, making it one of the first indie films to watch in 2025.
