Spirit of El Paso event this Sunday

EL PASO, Texas - Dec. 12, 2024 - PRLog -- Joe Saldivar, subject of the book "Spirit of El Paso," will host a book signing at his store, J&M Sports Cards and Toy Collectibles.  The store is located at 1861 Joe Battle Blvd in far east El Paso, across from Hobby Lobby.

The event will be on Sunday December 15, 2024 from Noon until 5 PM.

Everyone can benefit from reading this book and gaining an understanding of what it is like on the job for America's law enforcement officers.

"Spirit of El Paso," written by Best Selling Author Michelle Murray, is Sergeant Joe Saldivar's personal accounting of his time in County law enforcement while working for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office in El Paso, Texas. The book drops many visceral moments into your lap: the consternation of shoot/don't-shoot scenarios, the trauma of being wounded in the line of duty--and offers an insider's view of iconic moments in law enforcement, including searching the desert for victims of serial killer David Leonard Wood and memories of a teenage "Night Stalker" Richard Ramirez before he moved to Los Angeles and became a serial killer.

Spirit of El Paso's title was inspired by an award Sergeant Saldivar was given, of the same name. He was recognized for his service and dedication to the people of El Paso County Texas.
