President Trump Appoints Kari Lake as Director of Voice of America (VOA)

President Donald Trump has appointed Kari Lake as the new Director of Voice of America (VOA), the U.S. government's premier international broadcasting network. Funded by the federal government, VOA is the largest and oldest U.S. international broadcaster, delivering accurate and objective news in over 50 languages worldwide.

Stan Fitzgerald, National Officer and Georgia State Chapter Political Director of Veterans for America First (VFAF), congratulated Kari Lake on behalf of the organization. Lake acknowledged the gesture by resharing the congratulatory tweet from her War Room account.

Fitzgerald shared his experience: "In April 2024, after considering stepping back from grassroots politics, I received a call from Kari asking to meet for lunch in Georgia. Over milkshakes at the OK Café in Buckhead, we discussed critical issues such as the communist infiltration of American schools, media, and politics.
