New amenities opening as part of the Bavarian Inn Lodge's massive expansion project

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Dec. 17, 2024 - PRLog -- The second wave of exciting new openings in the Bavarian Inn Lodge's Family Fun Center and water park expansion have begun, completing the next piece of the massive 170,000 sq. ft. that will create Michigan's biggest indoor water park and family fun center.
At more than 45,000 sq. ft. the Family Fun Center expansion features a laser tag arena, a 3 story ropes climbing course with a sky line and a two-story rock climbing wall.
The two new attractions include a three-story ropes course known as "Jacob's High Flying Adventure" and three new climbing walls being called "Bavarian Alps."
Jacob's High Flying Adventure is a ropes course featuring a sky line as well as 20+ different climbing elements throughout the three-story structure. It is named after Lodge President Michael Keller Zehnder's son.
The Bavarian Alps climbing features include three different climbing walls with different levels of difficulty for all ages.
Both the three-story ropes course and climbing walls are being created by RCI Adventure Products, a Michigan based company out in Allegan.
Even during the ongoing construction, the Lodge's Family Fun Center has remained in operation throughout the project, as well as the other hotel amenities already in place, including the current family water slides, pools and restaurants.
