Sunshine Ace Hardware marks grand opening of Ave Maria store with three-day celebration

NAPLES, Fla. - Dec. 23, 2024 - PRLog -- Sunshine Ace Hardware hosted a three-day Grand Opening Celebration to commemorate the launch of its new retail store in Ave Maria.

Held Dec. 6-8, the family-friendly event's highlight was a ribbon-cutting featuring representatives from the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and four generations of the Wynn family, which opened Southwest Florida's first Sunshine Ace Hardware in 1958. Today, the company has 16 hardware, paint and gift stores under its umbrella.

"It is an honor to open the first hardware store in the community of Ave Maria," said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. "Sunshine Ace Hardware has been a fixture in Southwest Florida for 66 years, andwe have been proud to grow alongside this community over the years."

Guests at the Grand Opening Celebration enjoyed hot-off-the-grill samples cooked by grill masters from Traeger, Big Green Egg and Weber, as well as giveaways, grilling and product demos, exclusive discounts and opportunities to meet the store team.

The Ave Maria store features comprehensive paint and grilling departments, as well as a wide selection of power and hand tools, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, plumbing fixtures, propane and supplies for DIYers. Sunshine Ace Hardware's expansion into Ave Maria means residential customers in the community now have access to Ace Handyman Services of Southwest Florida, which offers licensed and bonded, multi-skilled craftsmen who can complete in-home residential projects like bathroom and kitchen repairs, as well as refreshes for bedrooms, home offices, dining rooms and living rooms.
