Massive step forward for Sister Blandina's Sainthood by St Joseph's Children Nonprofit

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Jan. 6, 2025 - PRLog -- On Friday, The Archdiocese of Santa Fe joined CommonSpirit St Joseph's Children in a press conference to announce moving "forward" in the canonization process for Sister Blandina Segale that began in 2014 (started by the late Archbishop Michael Sheehan) and has made great strides for the nun who's cause helped exploited children in America, run in with Billy the Kid, and has now alleged to have provoked miracles, like healing the sick.

The public figure know as Blandina Segale was born in 1850 in Cicagna, Italy before her family came to Cincinnati, OH where she eventually became a Sister of Charity sending her on an adventure to the southwest territories via the Santa Fe Trail. Some of her life and writings were published in the book and now movie: At the End of the Santa Fe Trail.

There has been careful consideration and "a lot of hard work put into place... these past ten years" in the effort for sainthood for Sister Blandina "even scrutiny," looking into "details, all the facts, history, narratives, the miracles" said Archbishop John C. Wester.
