Some of her life and writings were published in the book and now movie: At the End of the Santa Fe Trail. There has been careful consideration and "a lot of hard work put into place... these past ten years" in the effort for sainthood for Sister Blandina "even scrutiny," looking into "details, all the facts, history, narratives, the miracles" said Archbishop John C.
