Like all AAR Cudas, it is powered by a 340ci Six Pack V-8 engine. Only 1,614 of these AAR Cudas, like this one, were optioned with the Torqueflight automatic transmission.

The "Trans Am" option package includes strobe stripes, factory lightweight fiberglass hood, side-exit dual exhaust and attention-getting AAR decals. Additional factory options installed on this Cuda include: Black interior, Rallye instrument cluster, power steering, power brakes, woodgrain console and Musicmaster AM radio. The winner will also receive a collection of historical documentation, including this vehicle's original registration card which dates from 1970.

Grand Prize #2: This Hi-Impact-colored (Vitamin C) 1969½ Roadrunner left the factory with the drag-strip-ready high-performance A12 package. It is one of 722 "Lift-Off" hood Roadrunners produced and one of only 422 produced with a four-speed gear box.

The A12 package included 440ci Six Pack V-8 engine, Dana 60 axle, Sure grip differential, 4.10 rear gears and G70x15 tires on 15x6-inch wheels. Additional factory options installed on this Roadrunner include black bench-seat interior, sport stripes, power steering and AM radio.
