PORTLAND, Maine - Jan. 15, 2025 - PRLog -- Stroudwater Associates announces Principal Carla B. Wilber, DNP, RN, NE-BC, CATC, CPHQ was selected to serve as a Clinical Services Constituency Group (CG) Representative to the National Rural Health Association's Rural Health Policy Congress – an appointment that leverages Wilber's deep expertise in healthcare quality improvement and Stroudwater's expertise as a strategic, financial, clinical, and operational resource for rural and community healthcare organizations.
The Rural Health Policy Congress is the policy-making body of NRHA. Elected representatives from throughout the association give broad grassroots representation that reflects the concerns of rural America. Responsibilities of Congress members include:

"By serving as the Clinical Services CG Representative, I will continue to advocate for resources to support and sustain the role of rural and community healthcare." Wilber is the newest Clinical Services CG Representative. She begins her term in January 2025 and will serve through December 2026. Wilber will assist in developing the annual policy agenda to support NRHA's advocacy and guide the grassroots efforts of state associations, Offices of Rural Health, and all NRHA members. "I am honored to represent clinical leaders as part of NRHA's Congress," added Wilber. "Our efforts will help amplify the voices of rural communities and reach members of the United States Congress and federal agencies to influence rural policy." Carla Wilber, DNP, RN, NE-BC, CATC, CPHQ, joined the Stroudwater team in 2014, bringing a strong background in nursing leadership, critical care, education, Lean process improvement, and emergency services. Wilber focuses on supporting rural providers in quality and operational improvement initiatives. She has completed numerous facility assessments and process improvements in quality, care management, emergency department, care transitions, and survey readiness for Critical Access Hospitals, rural and urban health systems, and provider groups. Wilber leads the regulatory and compliance improvement efforts with the Stroudwater Survey Readiness team.
