Created by Mercedes Rau, Chosen Chaos is a media platform and community that breaks the traditional parenting mold. Through raw, unfiltered, and relatable content, Mercedes connects with families navigating foster care, neurodivergence, polyamory, and alternative education—because no two families look the same.

"We homeschool, we're poly, we parent kids with trauma, and somehow, we're making it work—loudly and messily," says Mercedes. "But more than that, we're proving that family doesn't have to fit a box to be valid, loving, and strong."

From Infertility to Foster Care to Finding a New Path

After years of infertility and 11 miscarriages, Mercedes turned to foster care and adoption—during a global pandemic.

Instead of following outdated parenting rules that didn't fit her family, she threw out the rulebook and created her own. Now, she's bringing that experience to parents worldwide.
