Housed within a compact 10-foot MILVAN shipping container, SAMM Tech combines additive and subtractive manufacturing capabilities to deliver on-demand repair, replacement, and prototype production directly at the point-of-need. This model integrates advanced hybrid material capabilities, enabling fabrication in both metal and plastic. The new configuration features technology integrations from some of the most reputable vendors in the additive manufacturing and machining spaces. Meltio provides the laser-wire directed energy deposition metal print head and engine, allowing the ability to print in stainless steel, mild steel, tool steel, and Inconel. The Slice Engineering Mosquito® Prime™ print head provides the ability to fabricate parts in PLA and TPU. The multi-axis CNC machining system allows for finishing, milling, and polishing the fabricated parts all in the same system.
