Innotec Unveils Sustainability Breakthrough with Recycled-Material Counterweights

The study, conducted in partnership with Foresight Management, reveals that Innotec's counterweights generate substantially lower emissions compared to traditional manufacturing methods.

The LCA study, completed in late 2024, evaluated the environmental impact of Innotec's proprietary counterweight manufacturing process, which ingeniously repurposes metal and plastic waste streams. Key findings show that Innotec's innovative approach:

• Produces significantly lower emissions compared to counterweights manufactured from virgin steel
• Generates approximately up to 40% less Global Warming Potential (GWP) emissions per kilogram than concrete counterweights and up to 2250% less than steel.
• Successfully diverts industrial waste streams into valuable new products

The assessment was based on comprehensive data collected throughout 2023, analyzing all material and facility flows, including energy usage, water consumption, and waste management.
