Better Together to host hiring events March 11 and 13 in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Feb. 24, 2025 - PRLog -- Better Together is offering two hiring events to job seekers in Jacksonville on Tuesday, March 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The March 11 job fair will be supported by First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville, located at 225 East Duval St. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/FUMCJacksonville or by texting "JOBS" to 844-987-3949.

The March 13 job fair will be in partnership with Normandy Park Baptist Church, located at 7050 Normandy Blvd. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/Normandy or by texting "JOBS" to 844-987-3949.

Registration is now open for hiring employers and job seekers to participate in both of the March events. The job fairs connect job seekers with local employers who are ready to hire, while also providing resources to facilitate stronger connections and more hires. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to job seekers to review resumes and interviewing skills, and additional services will be available onsite.

The job fairs are part of Better Together's "Better Jobs" program, which has helped 40,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. At job fairs hosted by Better Together, two-thirds of attendees get a job interview, and 1 in 4 receive a job offer on the spot. Some 70% find work within six weeks.
