![]() Berkhamsted & Tring Living Magazines Welcomes New OwnershipImportant news regarding the award-winning local titles of Berkhamsted and Tring Living Magazines...
Alison took ownership of the magazines in 2018 continuing the legacy established in 2001 and taking the publications to new heights. Under her leadership, Berkhamsted and Tring Living Magazines have flourished, providing high-quality editorial content and valuable exposure for local clubs and businesses - no longer restricted by a quarterly print format but also encompassing daily local news via the website and social media. However, after much consideration, Alison has made the difficult decision to step away to focus on her marketing consultancy, Alison Page Marketing (APM). "This has been more than just a business for me—it has been a real passion project," Alison said. "I have been honoured to build upon the legacy of the magazines, growing them into the trusted community resources they are today. While it was a difficult decision to move on, I am confident that Lyn Drummond will continue to uphold the quality and values our readers and advertisers have come to love – and expect." Lyn Drummond, who brings a wealth of experience in media is excited to take on the role and continue the magazine's strong tradition of serving the local community. "As a journalist for major media including The Independent in London and The Canberra Times in Australia, I have decided to 'go local' and return to the UK", said Lyn who has lived predominantly in Australia and Hungary since the age of 20. "I see the term 'think globally, act locally' as much more than a slogan", she says. "As a newcomer to this scenic and historic region I look forward to discovering the stories that encourage and reflect this mission and the challenges they can offer. "Above all, I intend to continue Alison's legacy of producing these award- winning community magazines to enhance residents' lives and interests while boosting our local economies in creative ways." All existing advertising and editorial commitments will continue as planned, ensuring a seamless transition for both readers and businesses. Lyn will be reaching out personally to introduce herself and, whilst the telephone line and email are transferred, can be contacted on: 07340 987491 / ldrummond75@ Alison added, "I want to thank all of our advertisers, contributors, and readers for their incredible support over the years. I have no doubt the magazines will continue to thrive under Lyn's leadership." End
