![]() NASW Arkansas Secures Funding for Naloxone Hero Program to Combat Opioid OverdosesBy: NASW Arkansas LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - March 6, 2025 - PRLog -- Little Rock, AR – The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Arkansas Chapter is proud to announce that its application for the Naloxone Hero Program through the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP) has been approved for funding. This initiative is a crucial step toward addressing substance use disorder and preventing opioid overdoses in Pulaski County, Little Rock, and surrounding areas.
As part of this program, NASW Arkansas will receive a $2,664.00 credit from the Arkansas Naloxone Bank to obtain and distribute naloxone to families and community members in need.
