There was a huge 42 per cent increase in the number of candidates being placed in new travel jobs last month, according to the latest figures from C&M Travel Recruitment. February's total was the highest since last October and was the third best figure in the past 18 months. Last month also saw a 13 per cent increase in job placements compared to February 2024. There was also a 23 per cent increase in new job vacancies in the travel industry last month compared to the same month in 2024. This meant that February 2025 recorded the third highest number of new roles in the past year, despite falling by eight per cent from January. However, the number of candidates beginning their search for a new travel job fell slightly in February with a dip of 14 per cent from January and three per cent compared to February 2024.
