PRLog -- OtakuFest, South Florida's ultimate celebration of anime, cosplay, gaming, and all things geek culture, is thrilled to announce its return for the sixth consecutive year. The festival will take place from June 6 to June 8, 2025, at the Miami Airport Convention Center, located at 711 NW 72nd Ave, Miami, Florida 33126.
Since its inception, OtakuFest has grown exponentially, with expectations to welcome over 17,000 attendees this year. The three-day event offers a diverse range of activities, including celebrity guest panels, cosplay contests, gaming tournaments, and artist showcases, ensuring there's something for every fan.
Event Highlights: - Celebrity Guests: Meet renowned voice actors such as Lee Majdoub (Sonic film franchise), Mara Junot (Marvel Rivals), Lauren Landa (Attack on Titan), and Samuel Roukin (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare)
- Featured Creators & Artists: Engage with talented creators like Peter Raymundo, a former Disney animator, and Whitney Pollett, among others, who will showcase their work and share insights during panels and workshops.
- Cosplay Events: Participate in various cosplay activities, including the OtakuFest 2025 Costume Contest, Masquerade Costume/Performance Contest, and Runway Costume Contest. A dedicated Cosplay Photo Booth and Cosplay Hospital will also be available to assist and capture memorable moments.
- Gaming & Tabletop Events: Compete in gaming tournaments and enjoy a variety of tabletop games throughout the weekend.
- Itasha/JDM Car Show: Experience the fusion of car culture and anime with a showcase of customized vehicles right in front of the Miami Airport Convention Center.
