ATLANTA - March 27, 2025 - PRLog -- Although Noble Clay's headquarters are physically located at 112 Ormond Street in Atlanta, the 501(c)(3) fitness nonprofit's mission is based squarely at the intersection of several staggering statistics. Rapidly rising rates of chronic disease, obesity, poverty, and loneliness have fueled the Noble Clay model to enhance human movement and connection by offering fitness and a sense of community for all. Noble Clay has issued a call for people of all fitness levels to take part in a 21-Day Movement Challenge between April 28 and May 18, 2025. Registration is FREE for this in-person and virtual fundraising event. With intentional movement as the key, Noble Clay is assembling a network of fitness-seeking fundraisers who will inspire donors to back their involvement in the challenge.

"The Noble Clay Movement Challenge is a win-win for all involved," said Ben Davis, Noble Clay Founder & Chief Encouragement Officer. "Intentional movement benefits everyone who takes part, and the funds we raise will allow us to continue subsidizing memberships for underserved communities. The central issue is that nearly 3 in 4 adults in the U.S. are considered overweight or obese. If predictions are correct, that number will reach 80% in 25 years. What's worse is that this epidemic isn't limited to adults alone.  More than 15 million children between the ages of five and 14 are considered overweight or obese. Excess weight and lack of movement contribute to a wealth of chronic diseases over a lifetime. Beyond the health aspect, there's a major disparity between those who can afford a personal trainer and those who cannot. Roughly 18% of Atlantans are below the poverty level. At Noble Clay, between our daily mission and Movement Challenge, we aim to move the needle while inspiring others to come alongside us as changemakers."

Davis shared that loneliness is also on the rise. A recent poll from the American Psychiatric Association (https://www.psychiatry.org/news-room/news-releases/media-...) revealed that one-third of adults report that they experienced feelings of loneliness at least once a week over the course of a year. Like those offered at Noble Clay's two Atlanta locations, a gym environment gives its members an undeniable sense of community.

With a goal to achieve a combined 50,000 minutes of movement and $50,000 raised, the Noble Clay Movement Challenge is sponsored by YETI, Lululemon, and GORUCK. In addition to peer-to-peer fundraising, throughout the 21-day fitness event, participants can earn a raffle entry daily when they move 30 minutes or more. The top three "movers" will be awarded a special prize at the event's conclusion.
