ST. LOUIS - March 27, 2025 - PRLog -- Beth Ann Lang, Chief Program Officer at Child Care Aware of Missouri (CCAMO), was recently invited to join the Council for Professional Recognition's State Partners Roundtable. The national organization appointed Lang as the state representative for Missouri.

Founded in 1985, the Council for Professional Recognition is a nonpartisan organization that advances career pathways for early childhood educators through high-quality, competency-based credentialing.

Lang is one of only 30 national stakeholders who will work with Council leadership by focusing on the latest initiatives and strategic activities to pursue innovative progress for the credentialing organization.

Lang brings more than 30 years of experience in early childhood, adult education and professional development to the Council. She has been with CCAMO for 24 years, overseeing training, technical assistance, and scholarship programs throughout Missouri. Since 2001 she has directed TEACH Early Childhood Missouri Scholarship, a statewide program aimed at increasing quality child care through education, compensation, and commitment. Lang was recently appointed to the TEACH Early Childhood National Advisory Committee.

"I am deeply honored to be chosen by the Council for Professional Recognition," said Lang. "This designation reflects my unwavering dedication to advancing quality early childhood education. I look forward to collaborating with esteemed industry leaders to foster a well-compensated, empowered workforce."

Founded in 1999, CCAMO is a statewide nonprofit that focuses on a comprehensive early childhood education experience through impactful programs and partnerships. The organization's services include workforce development, child care business supports, advocacy and policy work, and its new Child Care Keeps Missouri Working, a regional campaign offering concierge solutions to businesses undergoing employee recruitment and retention challenges due to the overwhelming shortage of quality child care options.
