Grand Opening of Yugantar 2025 at Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sonipat

SONEPAT, India - April 3, 2025 - PRLog -- The first day of Yugantar 2025 featured several thrilling and engaging competitions, including Mania: The Clash of Dice (Ludo Competition), Presentation Mania (Slide Show Competition), Tug of Words (Tech Debate), Code Quest (Technical Quiz), Tug of War (separate for males and females), Backward Running Race (separate for males and females), T-Shirt Painting, Web Wizard, and many more competitive events.

The most exhilarating competition of the day was Tug of War, where students from various colleges actively participated with full enthusiasm. In this event, the BBA Girls' team from GIET's Management Department emerged as the winner, while the B.Tech CSE team from GIET also secured victory. The faculty coordinators for this event were Assistant Professor Dinesh Rohilla and Assistant Professor Neha Kaliya. The competition was judged by Dr. Mohit Bansal, Director of Admission and Career Coach, along with Dean of Student Welfare Ajay Kaushik.

The event was further graced by the presence of Dr. Vinay Singhal, Principal of Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Dr. Rahul, Principal of Gateway College of Pharmacy, as the chief guests.

Another exciting event was the Backward Running Race, which saw enthusiastic participation from both boys and girls. The Ludo competition also attracted many participants and was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Ashish Agarwal. Meanwhile, the T-Shirt Painting competition allowed students to showcase their creative skills by designing unique and artistic T-shirts.

The first day of Yugantar 2025 concluded on a high note, with students participating in various competitions with great zeal and passion. More exciting competitions are lined up in the coming days, providing students with further opportunities to display their talents.
