The newly inaugurated biogas plant is designed to process cow dung and organic waste from the gaushala, converting it into clean biogas for cooking, electricity generation, and agricultural use. The initiative is part of a larger effort to promote clean energy, organic farming, and the revival of traditional Indian cow-based practices with a modern scientific approach. During the ceremony, CM Nayab Singh Saini applauded the efforts of the Kamdhenu Gaushala team and highlighted the importance of such projects in aligning with the Prime Minister's vision of a "Swachh and Atmanirbhar Bharat." "This biogas plant is not just an energy solution—it's an inspiration. It reflects our commitment to environmental sustainability, rural empowerment, and traditional Indian wisdom," said CM Saini while addressing the gathering. Acharya Manish Ji, known for his contributions in the field of Ayurveda and holistic wellness, emphasized the vital role gaushalas can play in the nation's health and environment. "Kamdhenu Gaushala is not just a shelter for cows—it's a center for holistic development. With this biogas plant, we are not only utilizing cow dung for clean energy but also producing organic manure that can enrich our soil and promote chemical-free farming," said Acharya Manish Ji. The inauguration was part of a grand programme held at the Kamdhenu Gaushala Seva Sadan campus, attended by spiritual leaders, local residents, health experts, and farmers. The event featured Ayurvedic wellness stalls, organic farming awareness sessions, and a demonstration of the biogas plant's operations. A special Gau Pujan ceremony was also performed, invoking blessings for the prosperity of the initiative. The Kamdhenu Gaushala Biogas Plant stands as a model of sustainable innovation that blends tradition with modern needs. It is expected to process over 2,000 kg of waste daily, generating sufficient biogas for gaushala needs and organic slurry for farming. With projects like these, Haryana is taking confident strides towards eco-friendly development, self-sufficiency, and honoring India's sacred relationship with the cow.
