Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) has conducted an international community service program titled "Implementing Martial Arts as a Strategy to Enhance Self-Awareness and Prevent Bullying at the Sekolah Indonesia Singapura (SIS)".

In an effort to introduce and preserve Indonesian culture abroad, the Sports Coaching Education study program at the State University of Malang is holding Pencak Silat Art Training (Basic Techniques) at the Sekolah Indonesia Singapura.
