Why does my press release ask for a password?

This is a mechanism to share your unreleased press release with people trusted by you. If you scheduled a press release to be released in future, then your press release is protected by a password.

Each scheduled press release has a different password, and you can view the password in the last column ("Pwd" field) from your account. This allows you and anybody else you share the password with to view the unreleased press releases.

Only unreleased press releases have a password. The password is not required anymore as soon as the unreleased press release is released by the system.
