The Lodge Mastering wraps up 2007 with the Grammy’s

Jan. 16, 2008 - PRLog -- Emily Lazar, The Lodge’s Chief Mastering Engineer and founder, celebrates 10 years in the business as one of the industry’s leading mastering engineers.  With an impressive body of work that cuts across all genres of music, Lazar has broken the gender and age standards for the audio world.

The end of the year 2007 was highlighted with several nominations for the 2008 Grammy Awards for:
·     The Shins “Wincing The Night Away” (Best Alternative Music Album).

·     Tiësto “Elements Of Life” (Best Electronic Dance Album)

·   Shiny Toy Guns “We Are Pilots” (Best Electronic Dance Album)


The nominated albums were mastered by Emily Lazar at The Lodge’s notoriously cozy studio in Greenwich Village, New York City.
Equipped with state-of the-art mastering, DVD authoring, surround sound, specialized recording studios and a great retro vibe; The Lodge has a unique collection of vintage outboard gear and digital work stations attracting a widely varied clientele including David Bowie, Against Me!, Vanessa Carlton,  Lou Reed, RZA (of the Wu Tang Clan), Sonic Youth, Garbage, Depeche Mode, DJ Tiesto and Destiny’s Child.

“I was extremely pleased to hear about the nominations, it has been an extraordinary past few years and I hope to deliver the same level of work for many years to come” stated Lazar.

The Grammy’s will air on February 8th, 2008 at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
