I Declare World Peace and World Peace Is Possible form Collaborative Partnership

June 15, 2012 - PRLog -- The New York based I Declare World Peace project and the Netherlands based World Peace Is Possible project today joyfully announced their new Collaborative Partnership. Representatives from each group said the purpose of the new collaboration is to increase global peace consciousness through the use and spread of their respective affirmations, “I Declare World Peace” and “World Peace Is Possible”.

Photographer and greeting card designer Rita Gelber, co-founder and president of the I Declare World Peace project, was effusive in her excitement about the collaboration.   “Just like when light waves synchronize they become a laser, our collaboration with World Peace Is Possible will increase synchrony and add power to our respective projects. Our affirmations even flow together, as ‘I Declare World Peace Is Possible’,“ Gelber laughed.

Reached at her home by telephone in Holland, Janny Smits, the artistic and creative director of World Peace Is Possible, sounded like she was smiling on the phone.  “World Peace Is Possible exists to change the thinking of humanity, to raise awareness and to seriously challenge existing false notions that peace is somehow not available. The I Declare World Peace project shares our viewpoint and our understanding of how a simple positive thought spread globally can have a positive result. We are very pleased with this collaboration,“  Smits said.

Gelber and Smits each noted that the collaboration is in its infancy.  While each project will preserve its own individual approach to “raising global peace consciousness”, according to Gelber, they pledged mutual support. “From our side,” Gelber noted, “as a starting point, we will be making our Twitter followers, Facebook fans and Google+ Pages contacts more aware of the wonderful World Peace Is Possible project.”

Smits also laughed and said “great things often start small. We at World Peace Is Possible feel that this collaboration with I Declare World Peace is the small beginning of a very great thing.
