VJ Technologies has recently unveiled their latest product in the X-ray Generator Series: The IXS1015. Designed for applications requiring outputs of up to 100kV and 200 Watts, the IXS1015 is ideal for OEM customers in need of a robust product at an excellent price performance ratio.

This product offers a versatile platform with high precision outputs from 20kV to 100kV and up to 200W continuous power. The IXS1015 integrates a high voltage inverter, filament supply, and X ray tube, and features on-board radiation shielding. Weighing less than 15 kg (33 lbs), the convenience of this unit is enhanced by its robust and compact physical features.

The modular design allows for unique customization giving OEM clientele the options of fan or cone beam, various focal spot sizes, and the ability to incorporate control electronics. The IXS1015 also has the option of integrating a liquid to liquid heat exchanger, which increases the unit’s already impressive stability.


This unit is suitable of thickness gauging, food and packaging inspections, and non-destructive testing (NDT) applications. Foreign object detection, medical imaging, and product quality monitoring are also common applications which can benefit from this multipurpose unit.
