Los Angeles CCIM’s 16th Annual Installation Dinner A Success

Nov. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- This past Tuesday night at the LA Athletic Club, the Los Angeles Chapter of CCIM—Certified Commercial Investment Member—held its 16th annual installation dinner celebration which was a resounding success with over 100 people in attendance.  

The dinner was held to recognize the CCIM’s 2012 officers, sponsors, and to install the incoming officers for 2013.  

Highlights of the evening included the 2012 Leadership Team awards, various speeches and invocations from industry leaders, and the swearing in of 2013 Chapter President Wolf Baschung, CCIM, CPM.

“2012 was a very productive year for the LA Chapter of CCIM, mainly in part due to the unrelenting work of Elizabeth Braman, CCIM, 2012 President and her team,” said Wolf Baschung.  “We pride ourselves on offering the very best in programs, classes and networking events, focusing on premier commercial real estate content, and our outlook for 2013 is very positive.”

The continued mission of the LA Chapter of CCIM is to promote the highest ethical standards in commercial real estate, provide quality educational programs to members and related professionals, serve as a forum where intelligence and success can be shared and celebrated, and finally, to enhance the awareness and recognition of the CCIM designation to the business community.  

“It is an honor and privilege to be of service to the 2013 Leadership Team,” said Baschung, CCIM, CPM in his installation address.  “In 2013 we want to increase our membership and encourage member participation in our chapter.

To do this we will bring innovative and exciting educational and networking programs.  We will add more value for members and create some member only events.  We will introduce our chapter MVP Program for top performing members. We will feature members in our membership directory, which is distributed among top ranking companies.  And as in the past, we’ll seek to align ourselves with other powerful organizations like IREM.”
