CBS3's Jim Donovan To Emcee Meredith School Auction

These items and more will be on the auction block at the highly anticipated "Meredith School Auction" on Saturday March 2, 2013, from 6pm-10pm at the IATSE Ballroom located at 2401 Swanson Street. CBS3’s Jim Donovan will be the celebrity emcee. Tickets cost $40 in advance and $45 at the door and includes dinner, drinks, and entertainment from South Philly's #1 DJ Johnny Looch. There will be silent and live auction items with a professional auctioneer. Other items include a Flyers helmet autographed by all of the players, hotel stays, private cooking classes, and gift cards to theaters, restaurants, and museums. Each classroom at Meredith is putting together auction items including handmade crafts and themed baskets with everything from martinis and margaritas, to gardening and family game night. Previous years auction proceeds have helped pay for staff positions, new auditorium sound system, laptop carts, and a diversity curriculum.
