Follow on Google News | Keva Planks Exhibit Returns to Children’s Museum of Virginia September 11thThe KEVA planks exhibit consists of fifty permanent models demonstrating the simple or complex possibilities of construction, instructions for projects and bins and bins of planks. This building process promotes verbal skills, creative problem solving, mathematical understanding, 3-D visualization and just plain fun! Plus, we are proud to say, these planks are made in Virginia. Since the Children’s Museum owns this exhibit and it is not rented from another institution, the KEVA planks will make periodic returns to the Changing Exhibit Gallery to challenge the imagination and skill of our visitors – children and adults alike. About the Children’s Museum of Virginia Children step inside a world where bubbles grow bigger than they are, where the forces of energy electrify and spark their imagination, where they can be a farmer, a banker, a scientist, and more! The Children’s Museum of Virginia includes the Lancaster Antique Toy and Train collection – an attraction for kids of all ages as well as a modernized planetarium.
