ORLANDO, Fla. - March 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The 2016 Honda Civic Sedan has already been making waves in the auto world, but drivers waiting for the stylish two-door coupe version won't have to wait much longer. Honda has officially announced the Civic Coupe and trim levels.

As the 10th generation of the Civic and the sixth generation that the two-door coupe version has been available, the car has quite a bit of legacy to live up to. The Civic Sedan has already proven itself to be the next great Civic, and with all of the features the Civic Coupe shares with its sibling, Central Florida drivers will likely be quite impressed when it arrives at Central Florida Honda Dealers later this season.

Much of what makes the Civic Coupe so impressive are carryovers from the Civic Sedan:

● Five different trim levels give drivers new levels of features for the greatest customization.

● A new standard 2.0L 4-cylinder powertrain is both powerful and efficient with 158 hp; this standard engine earns an EPA-estimated 41 mpg on the highway when paired with the available continuously variable transmission, too.*

● A turbocharged 1.5L engine — an American Honda first — is available as well with 174 hp and up to an EPA-estimated 42 mpg on the highway.*

The Civic Coupe does differentiate itself, however. The LX-P trim replaces the EX trim of the Civic Sedan, changing up some of the features between the two models. The differences between coupe and sedan are largely cosmetic, however.

Digital Trends reviewed the 2016 Civic Coupe and found it to shatter their expectations of what a compact coupe was, saying, “Styling, value, efficiency, and performance are packaged in a way that force rivals to vie for niches of the segment, rather than competing head-on with the latest Civic.”

The Civic Coupe promises to bring the conservative pricing and fuel economy of the Civic in line with the fun of driving a coupe. Readers looking to learn more can contact a Central Florida Honda Dealer for information.
