In 2002, Dan founded Intelliem, a boutique consulting and training firm with a Fortune-caliber clientele and deep expertise and experience in Windows, Active Directory, and SharePoint. Through his career, Dan has reached hundreds of thousands of IT professionals, executives, and users at almost every Fortune 100 enterprise, and more than half of the Fortune 500 and Global 1000.

Among his favorite projects is his role as Microsoft Technologies Consultant for NBC Olympics. Dan has previously supported the broadcast of the 2014 Winter Olympics from Sochi, as well as London (2012), Vancouver (2010), Beijing (2008), and Torino (2006).

In recognition of his contribution to the community, Dan has earned the prestigious title of Microsoft MVP eight times over, in three technologies: Windows Server Directory Services, SharePoint Server, and Office 365. He has been recognized by Redmond Magazine as one of the top 10 partner MVPs in the world.

Dan has authored numerous best-selling books for Microsoft Learning and O’Reilly, including training kits for SharePoint and Active Directory. Dan was also the community lead of SharePointProMag.com, for which Dan penned hundreds of articles.

When Dan is not in a distant corner of the globe working with customers, he can be found at his home base in Maui, Hawaii.
