IT Unity Launches Unity Vision Videos with Debut of New #CollabTalk Webcast

ORANGE, Calif. - Jan. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- IT Unity (@ITUnity01), the community of trusted Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 experts, users, business decision makers, developers and IT professionals, announces Unity Vision, its video channel for up-to-date news, community-driven broadcasts, live and recorded training and in-depth webinars for the rapidly growing IT Unity community.

The premiere programming for this new video effort is #CollabTalk, a new show that will debut on January 20, 2015, at 1:00 PM EST (10:00 AM PST). Topics for the first show will include public sites in Office 365, hybrid SharePoint environments, the new Office 365 Groups, and a discussion on OfficeMix and Sway. The #CollabTalk webcast will be hosted by Christian Buckley (@buckleyplanet). Buckley, founder of #CollabTalk, is a noted Microsoft Office 365 MVP; an internationally-recognized author and keynote speaker; and Managing Director, Americas of GTconsult, a Microsoft Gold Partner in Content and Collaboration. Buckley will be joined by three additional MVP hosts: Benjamin Niaulin from Sharegate (@bniaulin), Naomi Moneypenny from ManyWorlds (@nmoneypenny), and Marc Anderson from Sympraxis Consulting (@sympmarc). Each hour-long episode will cover topics of interest in the SharePoint and Office 365 community, with a focus on business user topics.

This new Unity Vision show is a spin-off of Buckley’s popular #CollabTalk tweetjam, a monthly Twitter-based community discussion identified by the #CollabTalk hashtag and sponsored by GTconsult. The #CollabTalk tweetjam has been running for almost two years, and the most recent session took place on December 30, 2014. It involved 126 participants and generated 1,142 tweets and 4.2 million impressions in just one hour. The new #CollabTalk show on Unity Vision will leverage this strong community brand, moving from Twitter to a live webcast format.
