By: redshoes26 The State Icon Shirts are heather-grey in color, and are designed to be unisex, crafted to fit men's and women's bodies comfortably. The shirts have been screen printed by a Minneapolis- The owners of redshoes26 and MAI met this summer to begin collaborating on the project. The shirts underwent multiple iterations between the two studios before the perfect design went into production. The finished product includes stylish reverse-stitch seaming for a flattering fit. The body is longer than the average t-shirt, so it won't ride up, and the sleeves have been made a touch slimmer and longer than most shirts for a less boxy fit. A shallow V-neck finishes the look. "We are so excited to debut these shirts, something we've been working on since our first meeting earlier this summer," says redshoes26 owner Christy Johnson. "MAI's creative designs were exactly what I wanted to showcase my illustrations. I've wanted to put my State Icons on shirts for years, and when I got the idea to have the shirts themselves be handmade, MAI was the first designer I thought of for the job. I'm proud that the shirts are made by hand, 100% in the USA." Made of 93% Rayon and 7% Spandex, the shirts will wash and wear well for many years, and get more comfortable with each wear. The fabric moves easily and breathes, so the shirts can even be worn during a workout. The State Icon Shirts come in sizes Small, Medium, and Large. They retail for $44 and will soon be available at www.redshoes26.com. *** redshoes26 is a one-stop shop for digital illustration, including State Icons, and branding.
