FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Sept. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- The last survey by the Creative Conflict Resolutions Group suggests that men's usual way of avoiding conflict in their marriage is by engaging in passive aggressive behaviors. In their attempts at avoiding confrontation, passive aggressive men worsen the conflict by behaving in ways that tacitly fuel it. Using a wall of silence to contain the wife's questions is a destructive weapon that can diminish trust and break down the relationship.

Suffering this kind of isolation in the context of a marriage is quite frustrating for a spouse who wants to emotionally connect with her husband, but is continually confronted with his defensive emotional distance.

A recently edited Kindle book: "The Silent Marriage: How Passive Aggression Steals Your Happiness," explores this issue and proposes ways to change the use of passive aggressive tactics like the silent treatment. It is part of a series published in Amazon, "The Complete Guide to Passive Aggression,"

and can be found here:

The Silent Marriage explains the damage a relationship can experience by letting passive aggression go unchallenged in her relationship. This book is very useful for married women who are new to the topic of passive aggression, who are not sure whether it is worth it to fight back, or who do not know how to understand and manage the passive aggressive behaviors that are done to isolate them.
