The 2017 Honda Ridgeline Is Coming Soon to Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. - May 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Drivers in Central Florida looking for a unique, affordable, and versatile pickup have been out of luck for a little while, but Honda just released the details on the 2017 Ridgeline, set to shake up the truck world with its updates. When the Ridgeline arrives in the new vehicle inventory at Central Florida Honda Dealers, it will feature quite a few upgrades.

As the second generation of Honda's midsize pickup truck, the Ridgeline brings back the successes of the early model while also being significantly redesigned to increase versatility and bring a rugged yet sophisticated pickup to the market. Under the hood is a new 3.5L V6 engine with 6-speed automatic transmission rated at 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque (both increased over the outgoing engine). When properly equipped, the Ridgeline can tow as much as 5,000 pounds, too.

Unlike many trucks with these capabilities, the Ridgeline is poised to be one of the most efficient options in its class, earning an EPA-estimated 26 highway and 19 city mpg on front-wheel drive models* (all-wheel drive barely impacts the fuel economy, dropping it to an EPA-estimated 25 highway and 18 city mpg*). This is the first time the Ridgeline can be had in both front- and all-wheel drive.

Another first for the Ridgeline comes in the form of technology, as this model has more standard and available tech features than preceding Honda pickups. Some of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline's many amenities include:

* 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen interface
* Multi-angle rearview camera system
* Tri-zone automatic climate control
* Remote start and smart entry
* LED lighting inside and out

The Ridgeline will have six main trim levels as well as a new Black Edition that equips the truck with a range of style upgrades, ensuring a truck for nearly any kind of driver. Add in the family-sized cabin with seating for up to five, and the Ridgeline asserts itself as truly capable.
