LANSING, Mich. - Nov. 22, 2023 - PRLog -- On November 30th, 2023, Collective Development Inc. and Twin Engines Global present a special one-day holiday showing of the WW2 award-winning holiday film SILENT NIGHT IN ALGONA. This one day free w/ ads showing (November 30th) will be on Encourage TV before being released to DVD and streaming platforms (Amazon and more) on December 1st, 2023. The film, written by DJ Perry (Wild Faith, Lost Heart), was directed by Anthony Hornus (Man's Best Friend). The film tells of the true events in 1944 at a German PW camp in Algona, Iowa. This camp was one of 700 camps in the Midwest that housed hundreds of thousands of German PW's. At this one camp a beautiful act of kindness took place despite the chaotic world war raging. This film is a good reminder of American standards and integrity and shows us that even during the darkest of times, goodwill can happen. The film broke the top #50 on Amazon pre-orders, and recently won best screenplay and best feature film at the 2023 Red Letter Awards honoring SILENT NIGHT IN ALGONA above other films with significantly larger budgets and star power.
