Canadian Woman Invents Versatile All in 1 Travel Towel and Sarong

“With a Towelini, I have a beach towel, sarong, robe, pillow and blanket all in one. Plus, it is so compact that it makes the ideal travel towel for space conscious backpackers. I wish I had come up with this idea years ago.”

May 21, 2008 - PRLog -- It’s called a Towelini and it’s the proud creation of Susan McVety, a Montreal native who was tired of bringing a beach bag full of accessories with her whenever she went on vacation.

“With a Towelini, I have a beach towel, sarong, robe, pillow and blanket all in one. Plus, it is so compact that it makes the ideal travel towel for space conscious backpackers. I wish I had come up with this idea years ago,” said Ms McVety.

On her website, http://Towelini.com, she refers to the Towelini as “The most versatile travel accessory ever created, and many people seem to agree with her. Sales of the Towelini, which is 100% organic terry cloth and manufactured exclusively in Canada, have been brisk since the product launch in April.

“So far we’ve sold a few hundred, which is fantastic considering that the product is so new. We plan on introducing it into a few large retail chains next year. The feedback has really been amazing.”

The 2008 line of Towelinis are made from 100% organic cotton and come in three bright colors. The collection is manufactured in Montreal and available via the website: http://www.towelini.com. The Towelini is affordably priced at $46.99 plus shipping. For all other inquiries contact Towelini Inc. at 514 967 9827
